VerbTeX is a free LaTeX Editor for iOS devices. It allows users to create and manage LaTeX projects directly on their iOS device and generate a PDF using Verbosus, an Online LaTeX Editor.

This software is provided "as is" without any warranties or conditions, expressed or implied.

<li>Support for PdfTeX or XeTeX for PDF generation</li>
<li>Support for BibTeX or Biber for bibliographies</li>
<li>Two Modes: Local (stores .tex documents on the device) and Cloud (synchronizes projects with Verbosus)</li>

<li>Line numbers</li>
<li>Autosave</li>
<li>Hotkeys for quick actions</li>

Limitations in the free VerbTeX version:
<ul>
<li>Max. number of projects (Local Mode): 2</li>
<li>Max. number of documents per project (Local Mode): 2</li>
<li>Max. number of file uploads per project (Local Mode): 4</li>
</ul>

If you encounter performance issues when loading a project or using the editor, you can try the following:
<ul>
<li>Disable syntax highlighting and line numbers in Preferences -> Syntax Highlighting</li>
<li>Split your project into multiple .tex files using the \include{} command in LaTeX</li>
</ul>

Import or export existing projects (Local Mode):
If you want to import or export existing projects, you have two options:
<ol>
<li>Automatic Dropbox or Box synchronization in Preferences -> Link to Dropbox or Box</li>
<li>Manually copy the font file to the root Documents path via Finder -> Device -> VerbTeX -> Files -> Drag and drop your files. Remember to refresh the project list.</li>
</ol>

Using custom fonts (Local Mode):
To use a custom font or a font that is not installed, you have two options:
<ol>
<li>Automatic Dropbox or Box synchronization in Preferences -> Link to Dropbox or Box</li>
<li>Manually copy the font file to the root Documents path via Finder -> Device -> VerbTeX -> Files -> Drag and drop your files.</li>
</ol>

In your project, you can use the font like this:

You can write Chinese in PdfTeX using the CJKutf8 package:

You can write Chinese in XeTeX using the xeCJK package:

Hotkeys in the editor:

<li>Ctrl + G: Generate PDF</li>
